Determining Insoluble Matter

Insoluble matter is determined by dissolution of the sample in water and subsequent filtration through membrane filters with pore size 0.2 µm. The insoluble matter is then analysed gravimetrically after the drying of the filters at 105°C.

Normal Measuring Range 0.005-1%
Quantification Limit 0.002%
